Collections
Five groupings, arranged by subject and by technique. Each leads to a different kind of work — from the figures a collection usually begins with, to pieces painted to a specific brief.
Buddha Thangka
Shakyamuni, Amitabha, Medicine Buddha and the lineage of enlightened teachers. The most widely recognised form of the tradition, and the natural starting point for a collection.

Hand Painted
Every work is painted by hand on prepared cotton or silk. Malachite, lapis lazuli, cinnabar and orpiment are ground by hand and bound in animal hide glue, exactly as they have been for six centuries.

Gold Thangka
Gilded works where 24-karat gold is applied by leaf and burnished with agate. Gold carries the light of the deity rather than decoration — it is applied last, and never retouched.
4 works · from $6K
Modern Collection
Traditional subjects painted for contemporary interiors: restrained palettes, generous negative space and finishes specified for modern lighting conditions.
